Denali, Anchorage and Kenai Fjords Alaska

Why:

Looking for a place to vacation with lots of social distancing available. Alaska seemed to have enough open spaces to accommodate that.

Also I faced my deepest fears. No, not the grizzly bears... WHALES. The humpback whales were very respectful of my space and did not swim under our boat to tip us over into freezing ocean water as I had always suspected they would. Instead they politely waved with their 16ft pectoral fins from a distance and peeked their 40 ton bodies out of the water to get a good look at us.
